Anchoragestudents support technology on campus through student technology fees paid each semester. The Computer Lab Initiative is one of three major initiatives funded by Anchoragecampus student technology fees. Today, 43  departmental computer labs participate in this initiative. Participating computer labs receive supplementary annual operating funds and equipment required to ensure that students have access to the latest technology.

An open enrollment period each year permits currently unsupported computer labs to apply for consideration under this initiative. This year, the open enrollment period will be from September 1 – September 30. During this period, any Anchorage campus departmental computer lab interested in applying may do so (Note: currently participating computer lab administrators have received open enrollment information concerning changes to their computer labs directly).
