This document will guide you through the installation of SSH Secure Shell for Windows, a program that allows secure telnet and ftp connections to UA systems such as glacier, nugget and summit. This program will replace all previous ftp and telnet applications such as Reflections or QvtTerm if you don’t utilize scripting & keyboard mapping. If you desire to continue using Reflections or QvtTerm, you still must route your connection through this secure shell.

IMPORTANT! This connection requires a different username and password than Banner/Citrix. Contact Charese at 786-1882 before continuing

For further information on SSH and FTP check out http://www.uaa.alaska.edu/bannersi/UGIntro.htm
