The UAA phone directory can be downloaded and installed on your PDA. The file is in portable document format (PDF) and requires software that can correctly display it. IT Services recommends Adobe Acrobat Reader.

1. Download Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC or Download Acrobat Reader for Palm OS

2. Follow the downloading instructions, choosing English, the correct platform and verifying that you have sufficient space on your PDA to accommodate the reader.

3. When the download is finished, double-click the downloaded file on your computer to install there. Follow the on screen instructions. You will be prompted when to sync your device to your desktop. This syncronization puts Acrobat Reader on your PDA.

4. Download the UAA directory by right-clicking this link Paper Directory in PDF Format (1MB) and saving the file. In Internet Explorer choose 'save target as', in Netscape 'save location as'. Save the file to your Desktop or a location you will remember.

5. Transfer the directory from your computer to your handheld - Queue the file for syncing by either dragging and dropping them onto the shortcut for the Adobe Acrobat Reader for mobile devices or by opening Adobe Acrobat Reader for mobile devices from your program menu and then dragging and dropping the PDF file into the window provided.

6. Perform a sync to transfer the file.

7. Open Acrobat Reader on your PDA and select the file desired from the Reader's menu.
